employing design as a vehicle for vulnerability, this year-long thesis exploration is inspired by my personal struggles with perfectionism and one-track thinking.
the resulting conceptual design takes form as an abstract multipurpose space malleable to the whims of imagined users as a means of disrupting rigidity and fixed expectations.
as seemingly stable structural elements spanning several stories shift, visitors will indirectly control and be controlled by the experience of others. conflicts of interest in layout and program will cultivate an endless fluctuation of circulation paths, levels of accessibility, and instances of light, creating a chaotic environment composed of uncertainty and overlapping perspectives.
